I remember seeing this tag and wanted to do it so I can remember all these details that changed my life.

1- Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant?
I was at home

2- Who was with you?
I was by myself
3- How did you find out that you were pregnant?
Home prego test.
4- What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant?
I was shocked because we had been trying for a little over a year and we were having a hard time getting pregnant. I had taken a home pregnancy test from that dollar store so I thought that it was wrong so I made Brian pee on a different one just to make sure they all didn't say you were pregnant ha ha ha!
6- Who was the first person you told?

Brian was in the other room studying so I went and told him and then I of course called my mom right away.

7-Did you plan to get pregnant?
Yes, we had been waiting for that day to come
8-Was everybody happy for you?
Yes I hope so.
9- Did you go out and celebrate?
I am sure we went to dinner or something.
10- Did you want to find out the sex?
Yes! We even went to the mall so we could find out early. That was such a great day.

11- What was the sex?
It was a GIRL!
12-Did anyone throw you a baby shower?
Yes I had 6
13- If yes, who?
My mom, my sister in law Lori, my ward, my friend Kristi, my friends Ashley and Kristine, my work

14- Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew you weren't going to put on your baby?
Yes of course doesn't everyone.
15- How much weight did you gain?
Well my goal was to only gain 25-35. Ha ha that was funny because I gained 50!! This is me the day before I had Brooklyn.

16- Did you lose all of the weight that you gained?
Yes.
17- Did you get a lot of stretch marks?
I guess I was pretty lucky because I did not get any!
18- What did you crave the most?
Frozen marshmallows I think that I would eat at least a bag every 3 days.
19- Did you crave anything crazy?
No
20- Who or what got on your nerves the most?
Probably Brian...He is such a great husband to put up with me!
21- Were you married at the time?
Yes
22- Did you have any complications during your pregnancy?
Towards the end I had really high blood pressure and 5 weeks before I was due I was having some pretty bad contractions so the Dr. put me on bed rest for the rest of my pregnancy and boy am I glad it was only 5 weeks!
23- Where were you when you went into labor?
My water broke at 3 am but I did not go to the hospital until 8 am. I woke up at 3 and told Brian that I thought my water broke and he told me just to go back to bed because I had probably just peed my pants ( I know you are all thinking how sick but I swear being 9 months pregnant I was always peeing a little ha ha ha!) So I changed and went back to bed but I woke up at 6 and I knew that I was not peeing my pants. I took a shower and ate breakfast and then I woke up my mom and headed to the hospital. And sure enough my water had broke.

25- Who drove you to the hospital?
Brian
26- Did you go early or late?
5 days early
27- Who was in the room with you when you gave birth?
I was going to have my mom and Brian but I had to have a c section so just Brian was able to be there.
28- Was it video taped?
No
29- Did you have any drugs for the pain?
Yes, then even more when it was time for the c-section. I was so drugged I could barely keep my eyes open. How sad is that when your giving birth!
30-Did you go Natural or have a c-section? C-section. I went 11 hours and I had only dilated to a 3 and Brooklyn's head was swelling so we needed to get her out.
31- What was your first reaction after giving birth?
I was just super excited and I could not believe that my little Brookie was finally here!

32- How big was the baby(s)?
8 lb even and she was 18 inches long (she was only one day old in this picture)

33- Did your Husband cry?
No, but he was choked up.
34- What did you name the baby(s)?
Brooklyn Avery
37- Did the baby(s) have any complications?
Nope!
38- How old is your baby today?
She is almost 10 months old

39- When is the next one(s) coming?
We are not sure I am having fun enjoying Brooklyn right now:)
40-If you could, would you do it all over again?
YES of course!!!

We were with some friends over the weekend and they snapped a few pictures of us. We were not planning on taking a family picture so of course I am not ready...no make up & hair pulled back! I just thought that Brooklyn & Brian looked so cute in them. Thanks David!

We went to Lake arrowhead last week and Brooklyn really enjoyed the ducks. She kept saying woof woof because she thinks every animal is a dog.

A few things about Brookie
*She just got her first tooth
*She loves to stand and as of a few days ago she will stand all by her self with out holding on to something:)
*Loves carrots and just discovered that she loves toast
*We always have to feed her naked because she is so messy
*She loves to see dogs and cats she gets very excited when she sees them
*Loves to play with her cousins and friends
*She loves to be cuddled

We are so blessed to have such a sweet little girl. We love you Brookie!

Well I saw the beautiful picture that Brian posted of my sweet little Brooklyn and I could not wait to put up the real picture ha ha ha! I guess that is what I get for staying in Utah an extra week:)

Well, I've never taken the opportunity to post anything to Melinda's blog. I've been missing out; this is kind of fun. We have been on Christmas vacation in Utah. It's been great. I got back Sunday night and Melinda won't be back till Thursday night. That means I can put anything on her blog and unfortunately she won't have access to internet till after she gets back home. Of course I've been kind of bored at home which leaves me to do stuff like photoshop our vacation pictures like this one of Brooklyn. I cropped it, sharpened the image, blurred the background... stuff like that. Although, with such a beautiful daughter, she naturally makes photos look good.
Melinda loves to get comments on her pictures so I'm hoping you will feel inclined to comment on this one. Unfortunately it may only be up for about 2 days or till Melinda sees it.
