Brian, Melinda, Brooklyn & Lexie

 

Brooklyn started gymnastics. she LOVES is and she is actually really good. She goes with our neighbor and friend Samantha. After gymnastics we take the girls out for dinner. We both look forward to Wednesdays. 

 

 

Brooklyn has had a wonderful first week of school. I wanted to write this story down so I wouldn't forget. On Brooklyn's second day of school she was waiting in line for the teacher to come. There was a little girl in front of her named Maggie. We stood there for a few minutes when the mom of Maggie tapped me on the shoulder. She told me that Maggie was extremely nervous for today and that she had eaten snack by herself yesterday and she was sad that she might have to do that again. So I introduced Brooklyn to Maggie and had asked Brooklyn to find Maggie during snack time. She said okay....but I was not very convinced that she was listening to me. The teacher came and took the class in. When I went to pick Brooklyn up I was so happy to hear that she had asked Maggie to eat her snack with her and a few other girls. The next day Maggies mom said that Maggie was so excited to have a new friend named Brooklyn. I am so proud of this sweet girl. She is not only beautiful on the outside but she is also beautiful on the inside!! I love her and she is such a good example to her little sister and friends around her!
