Brian, Melinda, Brooklyn & Lexie

 Furry our Elf made his big debut! He brought us a breakfast straight from the North Pole. Snow covered donuts and glacier hot Chocolate. He also brought the girls their Ornament for this year.
 A letter to Brooklyn reminding her to be good. He also brought some socks to keep her toes warm!

 You are not allowed to touch Furry so he brought this toy elf to play with.

My parents came to visit so we decided to take a trip to the north Pole. The North Pole is an amusement park up in the mountains. It was so FUN and cute. The girls had such a great time!! It's always great to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa!!

I wish there were more days like today. I think I'll wrap this one up and stick it in my pocket! We enjoyed the Sunshine, laughed and made cupcakes. I sure LOVE my girls!!

   This is how these two girls spent the morning!

For Lexie's actual birthday we had her friend Cru and his sisters come over to help us celebrate. Lexie and Cru have the same birthday and since it's the day after Halloween we decided to keep it simple. Lexie got to enjoy a cupcake and open her birthday gifts! 

Today Brian had the morning off. I took full advantage and left the kids to run some errands. Brooklyn had a friend call to see if she could play. I had already left so I told Brian where to take her. I knew she wasn't ready for the day so he got her dressed. When she got home the first thing she said to me was "Mom I got to go play and I didn't even have to get my hair done!" I laughed because I could see that he didn't even brush her hair.

This is something I didn't want to forget. She was so excited to not have her hair done!

This little girl turned 1 today! I still can't believe that she is a one year old. She is the happiest baby I know! She LOVES people and loves getting attention from them. She is our very sweet little girl and I feel so lucky to be her mom!!
We love our Lexie!!

A few things about Lexie at 1~
*She is starting to cruise along the furniture
*She loves dogs
*She is now on cows milk and loving it
*She is STILL waking up once at night
*She loves her sister Brooklyn
*She could climb the stairs all day if I would let her
*She can say a few words...mom, dad, hi, bye, bubba for bottle, tank eww for thank you, bookie  for Brooklyn, dog, woof and meow.
*She loves her vegetable baby food over the fruit.
*She loves to wave to everyone
