Brookie liked playing with the bean bags. She is sitting on a rug and she would just sit and play on it.
Grandma got Brooklyn a Dora doll and it came with a brush so she could brush her hair. Brooklyn is obsessed with her own hair she loves to brush and play with it all day. Grandma got her Dora and she loves brushing her hair!
She had a lot of FUN playing with Grandpa's Diet Coke can.

Brooklyn in her bed. This was the first time she has ever slept in her pack and play. She did great and slept the entire night.
She had fun crawling around on the hotel floor...I know I know it is covered in GERMS but I had no choice.
We had a GREAT weekend in Las vegas! My parents were in Vegas for the Nascar race so we decided to drive down Fiday afternoon to visit them. It was a short trip (we left Saturday night)but it was so fun to see my parents
and other family members! Brian was able to go to a race on Saturday and Brooklyn my mom and I stayed back at camp. Brian had a great time at the race. I loved being able to just sit and talk with my mom in person!It was so fun to be there with all of the fun booths to shop at. It got us excited about Nascar so on Sunday we watched the race and we both picked drivers that we are going to root for at every race. I chose #33 the cheerio car and Brian
chose #31 the CAT car.
Thanks mom and dad for such a FUN weekend! We miss you already:)

Looks like it was a lot of fun, especially for Brookie! She is so adorable! I like your style of camping, it is a lot like mine. {Let everyone else camp, and I will stay in a hotel!} hehe

How fun is that, It makes me glad that i am not the only one who freaks out over germs in a hotel. Haha.

Chris was just telling me that one of the guys in his class went to the NASCAR thing too. Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun, I'm glad to hear that Brian has time to do things like that, it gives me hope for my future in dental school as well:)
Oh how fun! That is great that you got to see your parents again so soon!! I think Brookie is going to be such a girlie girl! She is already learning how to do hair! lol. Maybe she will take after her mommy and learn how to do hair! Cute cute!
Melinda I am surprised you didn't cover the entire floor with blankets or something, knowing what a germ freak you are:) I remember making Paisley stay on the bed the entire time we stayed at a hotel. It looks like fun though, Brooklyn is so adorable!
